MAGIC PAINT

We will be using the flip tank tools to create a container in which we will be creating costume velocity forces to drive the liquid, to create this forces we will be modelling pieces of geometry that will be acting as our agent for a procedural animation and key frame the geometry to create a unique and beautiful movement pattern, then we will compute the velocity and import into flip fluid as a volume, this volume will be driving the forces to make the liquid inside of the tank move very organic and in controllable ways, following this we will go through some meshing technics of the particles simulation and we will cover how to texture, light and render using redshift.
For texturing we will learn how to use the velocity to drive the color of the mesh and then use this as a mask to mix both paint material and gold materials in other to create complex looking procedural textures that are all driven by the initial velocities from the geometry we create

-learn how to set up a flip tank fluid
-learn how to create costume velocity forces
-learn how to import velocities as volumes into flip fluids
-costume flip fluid animations
-meshing techniques for flip fluids in Houdini
-driving color based on velocity
-bringing in the point velocity color data to mix materials using redshift
-mixing paint and gold materials
-lighting and rendering with redshift
